20 Years of Innovation

We’re creating greater generational impact on the SoCal economy and community by increasing the scope and reach of existing successful Octane programs.

Octane celebrates innovators, entrepreneurs, and technology leaders who make Orange County a center of technology and medical technology innovation. The companies and people we serve along with the initiatives we run are about changing lives, creating high-paying jobs, and accelerating a healthier future for all.

Hear from innovators & entrepreneurs and their stories. View video.

Video from our 2022 High Tech Awards finalists.

Everyone Has Their Story.

The stories are what drive Octane’s mission to continue to leverage Orange County’s assets, strengthen the innovation ecosystem, grow more companies that create high-paying jobs, and advance inclusivity, diversity and equity to enhance the quality of live/work experience in Southern California.

Octane’s 20th Anniversary Octane Impact Fund was developed to keep Orange County’s innovation ecosystem and economy highly competitive, growing and sustainable in the face of increasingly competitive challenges and incentives from other cities and states.

There are countless ways to be a part of the story and help create impact in Orange County. The Octane Impact Fund will go directly to increasing the scope and reach of existing successful Octane programs that will have a greater generational impact on the SoCal economy and community. Why Continue the Legacy of Octane?

Octane provided a VERY hands-on and detailed review of our seed fundraising deck. Our pitch review session was like a mentorship one on one. Literally on the same day after making pitch deck adjustments, we closed an angel investor. 5 days later, we signed a SAFE note for $25k. And 3 more in the following week. The LaunchPad feedback really made an impact!
Andris Merkulov

CEO, Monetizr

I think it is one of the most impressive recent accomplishments of octane to see not only the board, but the programmatic efforts really be highly diverse and to help people of all backgrounds really be able to become technology champions and start companies and create movements that might not have happened if it wasn’t for Cctane.
Mike Mussallem

Chairman & CEO, Edwards Lifesciences Co-Founder, Octane

I hope the legacy of Octane will continue with the Impact Fund as it will impact the future generations. We need to create jobs. We’re going to create high paying jobs so that we have a fulfillment here for a family. We want people to understand that Orange County is a great place to live, a great place to work.
Jim Mazzo

Executive Chairman, Neurotech and Co-Founder, Octane
