Becoming a Data Driven Organization

Organizations have vast amounts of data available to them, but making sense of that data is not always easy. How can you use leading edge technologies to harness data and enhance operations? How do you translate data into actionable information?

Artificial Intelligence: The Hottest Topic in Intellectual Property

It was said in the 2010’s that “software is eating the world.” In the 2020’s, it is AI’s turn to feast. AI has worked its way into many areas of modern life, from voice-enabled assistants on our phones and in our homes, to distillation of massive amounts of data into intelligible patterns, to design of hard goods like golf clubs. With the rise of generative AI systems like ChatGPT, artificial intelligence is no longer limited to analyzing data and making more informed decisions. AI can now create written content sophisticated enough to pass graduate-level written exams, generate ideas, and (some would argue) create art. This Brunch with Experts will cover AI and its evolving relationship to intellectual property, including how innovations in AI can be protected, and whether ideas and content generated by AI can be protected with AI as an inventor or author.

Marketing 101 for Start-Ups in 2023

From AI to the OG of PR, we’ll discuss marketing news (not trends) for this year, how to embrace it, become bespoke about your targeted choices and what to really spend some time on. Content is still king (or queen in my world) yet the “influencers” we’ve been told to listen to aren’t really the ones that will authentically start to change purchasing behavior. Marketing is changing with many new buzzwords yet good ‘ol fashioned relationship building and trust are still the epitome of building a business.

Creating a Differentiated and Relevant Brand For Your Tech Startup
