A highlight of each year’s MedTech Innovation Forum (MTIF) are the presentations by companies who have recently been through the LaunchPad SBDC evaluation process. The LaunchPad presentations are the result of select technology companies who have recently been through the LaunchPad evaluation process. It is one of the most highly anticipated   sessions of Octane’s annual MedTech Innovation Forum. The selected companies have been chosen from a pool of over 180 applicants and represent a diverse group of medical technologies. These innovative companies have an opportunity to present their products and underlying business models to the entire MedTech Innovation Forum audience. In recent years, Octane has added a competitive component to the presentations. A panel of five investors will judge the presentations for   quality and likelihood of success in attracting investment funding. Since 2010, LaunchPad companies, specifically those who presented at MedTech Innovation Forum, have raised over $1 Billion in funding.
